USE OF WEBTOP / DESKTOP CUSTOMER
The use of both the Webtop and Desktop customer is a basic level course designed for EMC-Document final users who want to be familiarized with the EMC-Documentum in its Webtop and Desktop customer, its components, functionalities and applications. The participants will learn how to perform documental management basic tasks. This course is specially recommended for users who will act as contributors and consumers of the EMC-Documentum documental base content. The course mainly consists in a practical guide for the content management functionalities which is possible to be performed with the EMC-Documentum standard customer in browser and customer/server environment (Windows). The course is given in Spanish and manuals in Spanish and English are handed in.

1 day (8 hrs.), 4 hrs per each customer

Familiarization with Webtop and Desktop customers.
Perform varied actions over a Docbase.
Create and assign permits to a documental object.
Create and apply life cycles and Workflows to documental objects.
Familiarization with the content and objects stored in a Docbase.
Create and manipulate documental types and objects.

Module 1: Webtop general overview.
Module 2: Connecting to the system, on-line help.
Module 3: Create and modify elements.
Module 4: Functions with documents (versions, imports, links, victuals, and permits).
Module 5: Document searches.
Module 6: Workflows and task execution.
Module 7: My preferences.
Laboratory: A practical session for each theoretical module.
