Puntocom S.A’s solution based on Documentum 6, meets all the standards required by the government for the Electronic Document Administration
Santiago, April 2008.- The mint, in charge of the securities and currency emission for Chile and abroad, has selected Puntocom S.A.’s consultants to implement a Document Management Solution which allow administering their business critical processes fulfilling the entire standard rules required by the Chilean government.
The solution has been designed and developed in 6 months and it is based on the suite Documentum 6, platform which counts with the highest security and scalability standards of the industry. Moreover, it provides tools for the administration of all document processes such as: content repository, Workflows, capture systems, web interface, access security, multi-format displays, etc.
The following national standards were successfully meet in a pioneer manner in Chile:

• Law 19.799 (Law about the electronic documents, electronic signature and certification services of that signature);

• D.S.77 (Approves a technical rule on the efficiency of electronic communications between administration state organisms and within these, the citizens);

• (Approve a technical rule for the state administration organisms about interoperability of electronic documents);

• D.S.83 (Approves a technical rule for the state administration organisms about the security and confidentiality of electronic documents);

• D.S.158 (Modifies. D.S. Nº 81 from 2004, by the Presidency’s General Secretary Ministry which approves the technical rule for the state administration organisms about the interoperability of electronic documents).
