The sanitary services superintendency chooses a specialized consultant for the document and processes management.

Santiago, January 2001.- January 15th the agreement between the sanitary services superintendency, represented by Magaly Espinoza, and Puntocom S.A. consulting represented by his Executive Director Mr. Andrés Buzeta. In which is established the scope and objectives of a consulting that pretends to establish a new publishing and management model of SISS.

The consulting has as an objective to design the logics and operational basis for the specialized information center (SIC), so the sanitary services superintendency will become the official information reference in policies, standards, rules, studies and procedures from the country’s sanitary activities.

The scope of this agreement covers all the service´s main process, such as the granting and follow up of all the development plans from the company´s dealers, the fees studies, the control and industrial wastewaters (RILES) follow up and publishing studios in the area. Also, it pretends to give solution to a great amount of historical documents query and management, these documents being part of the national heritage like: urban Projects, Pattern drawings and high consumption documentation.

In three months it will have an operational model that will allow to give space for the implementation stage of an electronic document and processes management system, it will have to begin working during the current year, giving start to a modern information management way with the following benefits of process speed and easy access to high consumption documents.
